Mrs. Ring De Jager, 89, of Orange City, died Tuesday in an Orange City nursing home.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Friday in the First Reformed Church. Dr. Raymond Van Heukelom and the Rev. Perry Raak, officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home.

Mrs. De Jager, the former Rena Raak, was born Jan. 17, 1889, at Orange City. She was graduated from Orange City High School in 1907 and taught rural schools for five years.

She was married March 11, 1914. They farmed southwest of Orange City until 1941 and then moved into Orange City. She was a member of the First Reformed Church. Mr. De Jager died in April, 1974.

Survivors include a daughter, Miss Helen of Orange City; a son, Harold of Orange City; two grandchildren; two brothers, Carl of Lakewood, Colo, and Ray "Doc" of Mesa, Ariz.
