Walter W. Witt, 74, of Hawarden, died Wednesday at his farm home near here of an apparent heart attack.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church at Hawarden. The Rev. Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery with the Dow Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Witt was born May 5, 1903 in Hawarden and was a lifetime resident of the community. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He married Leonal Utesch Feb. 24, 1925 at Akron.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Donald of Hawarden and a daughter, Mrs. Bob R. (Louann) Baker of Denver, Colo; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Peter (Etta) Moeller of Hawarden.
