Mrs. Walter Levering, 72, of Sioux Center, died May 26 in a hospital here of a long illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., May 29 in the First Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Peter Y. De Jong officiating. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery at Doon, with the Memorial Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Levering, the former Kathryn Van Der Plaats, was born May 30, 1903 at Hull. She was married March 22, 1923 at Doon. The couple resided at Doon, and moved to Sioux Center three years ago.

Survivors include the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Mina Lemonds of Ceres, Calif., and Mrs. William Agnes Mantel of Ontario, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Ooten and Mrs. Gertrude Faber, both of Califonria.
