Rock Valley, Iowa - Mrs. John Frembgen, 73, of Rock Valley, died May 27 of a brief illness.

Services were held at 10:30 A.M., June 1 in St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. Patrick Nooney officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The Rosary was said at 8 P.M., May 31 in the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Mrs. Frembgen, the former Mary McGuire, was born Jan. 17, 1903, in Rock Rapids. She was married Oct. 3, 1928, in Rock Rapids. She was a long-time resident of Rock Valley.

Survivors include the widower; sons, John E. of Madison, Wis., Vernon M. of Alvord, Roger P. of Rock Valley; daughters, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Sullivan and Mrs. Thomas (Martha) McCarty, both of Alvord, and Mrs. Marvin (Mary) Roemen of Rock Rapids; and 30 grandchildren.
