George Rentschler, 78, rural Inwood, died May 23 in the Canton-Inwood Hospital after a brief illness. Services were held May 26 in Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

He was born in Sioux Center, married Ruby Attletweedt in Canton in 1939.

Survivors include the widow, a son, a daughter, others. He was a retired farmer.
