Mrs. Etta Gehner

Funeral services were held at St. Paul’s Lutheran church at Ireton at 3 p.m. August 21 for Mrs. Etta Gehner, 88, formerly of Ireton, who died August 19, at a nursing home near Raymond, Minnesota.

Burial was made in Pleasant View cemetery at Ireton.

Mrs. Gehner, the former Etta Johnson, moved to Minnesota following the death of her husband a number of years ago.

Survivors include a son and daughter in California, one grandchild, three brothers, Ed and Fred Johnson, both of Ireton, and Elmer of California, a sister, Mrs. John Moeller, of Ireton.

Funeral services were held Friday, August 21, at 3:00 P.M., at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton. Rev. Max Jank, Montevideo, Minn. officiating for Mrs. Etta Gehner, 85 years old who passed away August 19 at the Clara City Nursing Home in Clara City, Minnesota.

Organist was Mrs. Vernon Eilts. Duet was given by Belinda and Carol Eilts.

Pall bearers were Ronald Johnson, Vernon Eilts, Bill Eilts, Donald Bultman, Darold Bultman and Kenneth Bultman. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Gehner, former Etta Johnson, was born October 23, 1885, was a long time resident of Ireton. She married Edward Gehner on October 22, 1913. Her husband passed away January 9, 1960. She moved to Maynard, Minn. after the death of her husband.

Survivors include one daughter, one son, three brothers and one sister.
