Mrs. Hattie De Haan, 75, of Garner, formerly of Rock Rapids, died July 17 at a Garner nursing home.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., July 20 at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley with the Rev. Wendell G. Pyle officiating. Burial was in Alvord Cemetery.

Mrs. De Haan, the former Hattie Ruisch, was born Jan. 17, 1901, in Alvord and was married to Harry De Haan in 1920. She moved to Garner in 1972 from Rock Rapids.

Survivors include two sons, Donald of Hawarden and Ben of Baudette, Minn.; a daughter, Mrs. Al (Genevieve) Herren of Forest City; a half-brother, William Van Sloten of Rock Rapids; four half-sisters, Mrs. Walter Jansma of Rock Rapids, Mrs. Richard De Boer of Lester, Mrs. Mina Schaap of Sioux Center and Mrs. Nick Flaeger of Hull; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
