SIOUX CENTER-- Peter John Haverhals Jr.52, of Sioux Center , died Tuesday at a Rochester, Minn. hospitial of long illness.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bethel Christian Reformed Church at Sioux Center with the Rev.John Kroon officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under direction of the Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Haverhals was born April 5, 1925 near Sioux Center on the farm where he lived all his life. He married Josephine Van De Burg July 29, 1947 at Sioux Center. He served on the Hull Western Christian High School Board and on the Sioux Center Community Hospital Board.

Survivors include the widow; sons Peter J. III of Seattle, Wash., Willard G.of Ireton, and David L. at home; daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Gertrude)Blom of Sioux Center, and JoAnn R. at home; two grandchildren; a brother, Siebert of Sioux Center; and sisters, Mrs. Henry (Ann) Dekkers and Mrs. Chris(Rena)Dragstra, both of Sioux Center, Mrs. Peter (Grace) Dekkers of Ireton, Mrs. Melvin (Gertie)Bonnema of Hawarden, Mrs. Allen (Dreaka Jean) Boeye of Freeman, SD.,and Miss Adelene of Lynden, Wash.
