Interment: Nassau Township Cemetery, Alton, Iowa
Teneva Marjorie was the daughter of Gerrit and Emma (Smit) Koerselman. She was raised at Middlehurg and then moved to Sioux Center.

On September 28. l949, she married William J. Kroon at Sioux Center, IA. They made their home in Alton, IA., or 48 years. In 1998, they moved to Orange City.

Teneva was a member of the Alton Reformed Church. Where she participated in Reformed Church Women. She was an organist for 50 years, first at the Free Grace Reformed Church in Middlehurg, then at the First Reformed Church in Sioux Center, and later at the Alton Reformed Church. She also belonged to the Floyd American Legion Post Auxiliary in Alton.

Mrs. Kroon gave piano lessons to many students and she liked to bake and cook. Teneva and Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling. They wintered in Arizona for 14 years and loved spending time with their family.

Survivors include her husband; three children and their spouses, Robert Kroonand Melinda Dunnihoo of Menlo Park, California; Emily and Jim Vander Pol

of Hospers: and Ken and Edie Kroon of Alton: eight grandchildren, Jennifer Kroon. Douglas Kroon. Samuel Kroon, Michelle and her husband John Adams, Michael

Vander Pol. Crisinda Vander Pol. Angie Witt and her fiancé Dean Girard, and Melissa Witt; a great-granddaughter Shaelyn Adams: three brothers and their wives, Comic and Elizabeth Koerselman and Gary and Leona Koerselman. all of Sioux

Center: and Cliff and Verda Koerselman of Struble, IA: and two sisters, Gerdena Wissink; and Esther and her husband Bill Plantage, all of Sioux Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Marion Wissink.

Memorials may he directed to the Alton Reformed Church Benevolent Fund; the New Hope Community Church in Gilbert. Arizona: or the Sioux County Cancer Society.

After the committal service at the cemetery. relatives and friends are invited to join the family in the church fellowship hall for lunch and fellowship.
