Amos Vander Wilt, 74, of Sioux Center, died Wednesday at Sioux Falls hospital of brief illness.

Services were at 1:30 Saturday in the First Reformed Church, Sioux Center, with the Rev. Thurman Rynbrandt officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens, Sioux Center, under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

Mr. Vander Wilt was born at Middleburg, Iowa, September 1, 1903. He married Margaret Muilenburg, June 16, 1932, at Orange City. He was a farmer in the Sioux Center area.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. John (Amelia) Henness of Skillman, New Jersey and Mrs. Larry (Mary) Zeutenhorst of Orange City; a son, Hugh of Houston, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Jerry (Kathryn) Dykstra of Sioux Center; a brother, Albert of Spencer; five grandchildren.
