Rock Valley--Robert E. Klein, 53, of Rock Valley, was killed Monday afternoon in an industrial accident in Rock Valley.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Our Saviour Lutheran Church. The Rev. James Frank officiated and burial was in the St. Paul Lutheran cemetery at Hull under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley.

Mr. Klein was born June 24, 1924, in Rock Valley and was a life-long resident. He married Frances Anderson August 16, 1947. He served in World War II. He had been working as a dredge operator.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Rex of Sheldon and Brad of Sioux Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Katheryn) Van De Berg of Edgerton, Minnesota, and Miss Gayle Klein of George; two brothers Ruben of Long Beach, California, and Arthur of Rock Valley; three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Hulda) Kersbergen and Mrs. Marzo (Rosie) Kessler, both of Rock Valley, and Mrs. John (Esther) Van De Weerd of Stockton, Illinois, and seven grandchildren.
