Maria, the 16 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jensen died very unexpectedly last Friday afternoon. The sympathy of the entire community is with the afflicted family. The funeral services occured Saturday. Rev. Cole of the M. E. Church officiating.
(In the Sioux County Cemetery index is the name of Maria Jensen b. 1873-1889 buried at Hope Cemetery at Hull. In the 1880 census of Sheridan Tsp. Peter Jensen a farmer, 31 yrs born at Denmark, wife Annie age 28, b. Norway; Children - Maria 7, born IA, James 4, Carrie 3, and Nellie 1. )
