Sioux Center-Gerrit W. Rensink, 69, Sioux Center died of a heart attack Oct. 9 at the home of his son near Sioux Center.

Services were at 10:30 A.M., Oct. 12 at First Reformed Church, Sioux Center, with the Rev. Wesley Kiel officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center, in charge.

Mr. Rensink was born Sept. 29, 1907, in Sioux Center. He married Cynthia Sandbulte Jan. 28, 1931, in Sioux Center. They farmed near here until retiring in 1973 and moving into town.

Mr. Rensink was a member of First Reformed Church of Sioux Center and served as an elder and deacon for several years.

Survivors include the widow; four sons, Wilmer and Darrel, both of Sioux Center, Milton of Santa Ana, Calif., and Carl of Burlington; a brother, Marinus of Sioux Center; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Rena) Remmerde of Sioux Center and Mrs. William (Sena) Vreeman of Sheldon; and 13 grandchildren.
