Sioux Center-Mrs. John T. De Boer, 83, of Sioux Center, died Oct. 5 at a Sioux Center hospital.

Services were held Oct. 7 at 10:30 A.M., in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerrit Rezelman officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. De Boer, the former Kate Vanderwilt, was born Oct. 20, 1893, at Sioux Center. She was married March 7, 1912, at Sioux Center. Mr. De Boer died May 4, 1948.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Herman (Hertilda) De Vries of Gainsville, Tex., and Mrs. William R. (Esther) Beernink of Sioux Center; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
