Rock Valley--Herman Brouwer, 67, of Rock Valley, died at his residence Wednesday evening.
Services were at l0:30 a.m. Saturday in Calvin Christian Reformed Churc. The Rev. John Engbers officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery under direction of the Porter Funeral Home.
Mr. Brouwer was born July 22, 1910 at LeMars. He married Janet Scholten Aug. l, l935 at Hudson, S.D. He farmed and later worked as a feed grinder.
Survivors include the widow; a son, Jay of Milwaukee, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. Al (Gertrude) Brunsting of Sheldon; sisters, Mrs. John (Dora) Van Otterloo of Lakewood, Calif., and Mrs. Sam (Eva) Van Voorst of Spencer; seven grandchildren.
