Former postmaster dies

Relatives received word of the death of Mr. Alan Muilenburg, former Sioux Center postmaster who resided in Artesia, Calif. Mrs. Muilenburg died of cancer at the age of 81.

He is survived by his wife Jeane who lives at 18430 Arline Ave., Artesia, and nephews and nieces and a host of friend.

Mr. Muilenburg was a postmaster in Sioux Center for 12 years and in Artesia for 8 years. He also owned the Central Cafe for 5 years. His wife was the former Jeane Gotz to whom he had been married 39 years.
