--Mrs. Clarence Huitink, 51, Orange City, died Saturday in a farm accident near Orange City.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the First Reformed Church, Orange City. The Rev. Perry Raak and the Rev. Frank Snuttjer officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City, under the direction of the Van Ette-Oolman Funeral Home, Orange City.
Mrs. Huitink, the former Vera Jasper, was born March 7, 1926, in Orange City. She was married Feb. 15, 1946, in Orange City. the couple farmed near Orange City until l975 when they moved to town.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Orange City.
Survivors include the widower; two sons, Gene and David, both of Orange City; two daughters, Mrs Betty and Miss Robin, both at home; her mother, Mrs. John (Gertrude) Slickers of Orange City, eight sisters, Mrs. John (Jessie)Jeltema and Mrs. Tony (Rena) Huizenga, both of Orange City, Mrs. Clarence (Alice) Haarsma of Maurice, Mrs. Ray (Hermina)Terpstra of Lake Worth, Fla., Hrs. Henry (Harriet) Sprik of Platte, S.D., Mrs. Albert (Elsie) Meendering of Sioux Center, Mrs. Henry (Viola) Huitink of Hospers and Mrs. Al (Gertrude) Tucker of Cadereyta, Mexico) five brothers, Arie, Marion and Clarence,all of Orange City, and George and Vernon, both of Artesia, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
