MARY SCHAUL

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 16, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton at 9 a.m. for Mary Schaul, who passed away Tuesday in Dubuque, Iowa. She had been ailing for several months. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Father Zeno Reising will officiate and Fisch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was 58 years old.

Mary Schaul had lived in Dubuque since 1944 and before that she had lived in Alton. She had never married.

She is survived by two sisters, Sister Marguerite OSF of Dubuque, Iowa; Mrs. Chris Gerst of Alton; one half sister, Mrs. Morris Smith of Long Beach, Calif.; 5 step sisters, Ann Bunkers, Dell Rapids, S.Dak.; Mrs. Peter Wagner, Strugis, So. Dak.; Mrs. T. Medley, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. T. Anglin, Miller, So. Dak.; Mrs. Jack Buckhole, Carroll, Iowa; one step brother, Wm. Kellen of Remsen, Iowa.

The body was taken to St. Mary’s Chapel early Monday afternoon and friends may call there from Monday afternoon until service time.
