Obituary: George Snieder, 91, Sioux Center, died Friday at Sioux Center Hospital. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Bethal Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Duane Tinkleberg officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Snieder was born February 18, 1892, at Dispatch, Kansas. He married Jennie Bonnema, April 6, 1921, in Ireton. She died December 20, 1981. He farmed most of his life. Survivors include a son, Bernard, Grandville, Michigan; three daughters, Mrs. George (Evelyn) Drost, Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. John (Helen) Schaap, Worthington, Minnesota, and Mrs. Lloyd (Vivian) Ebbers, Oostburg, Wisconsin; a brother, Henry, Sioux Center; a sister, Bertha Klein, Grand Rapids, Michigan; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
(Note:George was married to 2 Jennie Bonnemas who were first cousins)
