WED QUIETLY IN SIOUX CITY

Miss Lela Dimmick and Mr. John Krusen Married Nov. 27th

Miss Lela Dimmick of Ireton and Mr. John Krusen of Hawarden were quietly married in Sioux City at the Crescent Park Methodist parsonage at 3:30 Monday afternoon, November 27th, Rev. F. .O. Johnson performing the ceremony. Miss Gladys Johnson was bridesmaid and Mr. Glenn Dimmick, a brother of the bride, acted as best man. The bride was attired in a floor length white satin gown with white accessories. She wore a beautiful necklace, a gift from her mother.

Her bridesmaid wore a white organdy gown with white accessories. The men wore conventional dark suits. Following the ceremony the bridal party returned home where a wedding supper was served to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Dimmick and Glenn, Miss Gladys Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dimmick and family, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dimmick and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dimmick and family and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Dimmick and Dickie. The center of the table was beautifully decorated with a three-tiered wedding cake baked by Mrs. Frank Parrott.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Dimmick of Ireton, She attended school near Akron but three years ago she came to Ireton with her parents and since then has assisted with the work at home. She is an accomplished young woman well versed in the art of homemaking. The bridegroom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Krusen Sr., long time residents of the Hawarden community. He attended the rural schools and since then has assisted his father with the work at home. He is an industrious young man of true worth.
