Hawarden Independent, Hawarden, Sioux, Iowa, Thursday, September 7 1944

WED AT LUVERNE ON AUGUST 26th

Lela Krusen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C A. Dimmick of Hawarden, became the bride of Glenn DeWall, son of Mr. and Mrs. John DeWall of Alcester, Saturday afternoon, August 26, at Luverne, Minn. Rev. Martin Bauser, pastor of the German Lutheran church of that place, performed the ceremony.

The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dimmick. The bride wore a street length dress of aqua trimmed with brown velvet. The bride has lived in the Hawarden vicinity for some time. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Alcester High school and since he graduated he has been engaged in farm labor. The young couple will live at the Guy Dimmick home, south of town where he is employed.
