Employment: Martin and Mary Jane relocated to Harlan, IA from Mt. Pleasant, IA, in 1960 to purchase Pexton Drug Store; Mary Jane focused her attentions on their growing family, but was also able to use her college degree as a social worker at The Little Flower Haven in Earling, IA, for 20 years

Hobbies/Interests: loved to read, play cards, and would complete 2 crossword puzzles each day; her happiest times were family gatherings and keeping her cookie jar full. In her later years, Mary Jane enjoyed trips to the casinos.
