Hobbies/Interests: In his early adult life he loved hunting wild game and training his bird dogs. He enjoyed restoring old cars, especially his 1974 Chevy Nova drag car. After becoming disabled and was no longer able to work, Jerry packed his travel trailer and, with his dog, Whiskey, they explored different lakes and rivers in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. He often stayed in different campgrounds working as a camp host and doing light maintenance. While “down south” he spent time meeting new people, fishing, hiking, and collecting different rocks and arrowheads.
