Employment: Farmer’s wife for 55 years, but also worked numerous jobs which included assembling bomb fuses at the Jubilee Manufacturing Co. in Omaha, NE, during WWII, as a cook at the Hancock Elementary School (Britt, IA), the meat counter at the Avoca Grocery Store and as officer-in-charge at the Hancock Post Office.

Hobbies/Interests: 65 year member, American Legion Auxiliary Post #720, Hancock, IA; an accomplished self-taught cook; loved road trips; horse races; card games
