Employment: They farmed in the Portsmouth, IA for 5 years, then moved to Logan, IA area, where they farmed for 16 years. Rose and Francis then moved to a farm northwest of Hancock, IA and farmed there for 14 years before retiring in 1980. Worked as custodian of the church from 1982-1990.

Hobbies/Interests: enjoyed gardening, bird watching and walking
