Education: Graduated from Tennant (IA) High School, Class of 1941. Immediately after his high school graduation, he attended business school in Omaha, NE and then began his farming career.

Religious affiliation: His faith was a huge part of his life and he was an active member at First Baptist Church for many years.

Hobbies/Interests: Dale spent his life on the farm. He enjoyed every aspect of farming. If there was a problem, Dale could come up with a solution often inventing something that would help get the job done. His family meant the world to him and he enjoyed going on annual vacations when the kids were young, and he continued to travel around the country with Ruth after the kids were grown.
