Stephanie R. Musich - Age 36

Stephanie Renae Musich was born on September 6, 1975 to Timothy and Jean (Christensen) Green in Harlan, Iowa. She attended schools in Shenandoah, Iowa, Fairfield, Iowa, Charles City, Iowa, Carrboro, North Carolina, Monona, Iowa, and Indianola, Iowa before graduating from Harlan Community High School in Harlan, Iowa with the Class of 1993. She received an Associates Degree from Iowa Western Community College in May of 1995 and her Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Psychology from Buena Vista University.

On March 25, 1997, she was united in marriage to Mark Musich at the United Methodist Church in Shelby, Iowa. The couple had four children: Majesta Essie-Renae, Mark Atman-Irvin, Isabella Margaret-Jean, and Delaney Rajah-Ann. The couple lived together in Earling for thirteen years.

Stephanie worked as a CMA at REM Leadway in Shelby, Iowa for ten years and was a member of the Earling Volunteer Fire and Rescue Team.

She enjoyed crocheting and making jewelry, camping, and spending time with her children. She was a soccer coach, Girl Scout Leader, and taught Sunday School at the Methodist Church.

Stephanie died on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan, Iowa having attained the age of thirty-six years, seven months, and one day.

Stephanie is survived by her parents, Jean Green of Des Moines, Iowa and Timothy Green of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Mark Musich of Harlan, Iowa; children: Majesta Essie-Renae, Mark Atman-Irving, Isabella Margaret-Jean, and Delaney Rajah-Ann; step-children Sasha Lynn and her husband Rob Johnson and Jacob Nathaniel Musich; step-grandchildren; boyfriend Russell "Rusty" Buckley; sister Tina Green of Lincoln City, Oregon; brother Nathan Green of Des Moines; other family members and friends.

Rev. Lawrence Hoffman officiated the 10:00 AM funeral service on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling, Iowa. Serving as casket bearers were Duane Musich, Jim "Doc" Musich, Rick Musich, Tom Henrich, Nick Cadwell, and Glenn Birks. Interment was held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Earling.
