Funeral Services for 88 year old Dwight A. Reep of Logan will be held at 10am on Tuesday, June 19th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Logan. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia. Dwight Reep passed away on Friday, June 15th at the Westmont Care Center in Logan. Survivors include: 1 son: Larry (Linda) Reep of Harlan; 1 daughter: Karen (Eugene) Jacobsen of Magnolia; 4 granddaughters; and 12 great-grandchildren. A prayer service will be held at 6pm on Monday, June 18th with visitation to follow until 8pm at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan.

Dwight Reep

Dwight A. Reep, age 88, of Logan, Iowa passed away Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa. Dwight was born October 9, 1923 in Magnolia to Walter and Clara (Schuelzky) Reep. He attended the Magnolia School and graduated with the class of 1941. After graduation he farmed in the Magnolia area. Dwight was married February 9, 1947 to Wilma Niedermyer of Pisgah, Iowa. They farmed on the Neidermyer farm for fifty one years, from there moving to Logan in 1998. Dwight was very active in his community and county committees. He served on the ASCS committee of Logan, F.S. board of Logan, Allen Township trustee, member of the Pisgah Medical Center and Harrison County Mutual Insurance Board.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, wife Wilma, sister Muriel Lakey, brother Robert Reep. Survivors include his son: Larry Reep and wife Linda of Harlan, Iowa; daughter: Karen Jacobsen and husband Eugene of Magnolia, Iowa; four granddaughters: Nicole McClain and friend Troy Bruck, Stacy Reep, Kim Wohlers and husband Ryan, Angie Clark and husband Joel, twelve great-grandchildren.

A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.

Memorials may be directed to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the church following the committal service.

Funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Logan, Iowa with burial in the Magnolia Cemetery.
