Funeral services for Mrs. Dennis (Sally) Schmidt, 32, were held at Davenport Jan. 24 with the Rev. Mark Holmer, pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran church, Davenport, officiating. Burial was in Davenport Memorial park. Memorials may be made to Faith Evangelical Lutheran church, Eldridge or to an educational trust fund for her children.

Mrs. Schmidt died at University hospitals, Iowa City, Jan. 21.

The daughter of Donald and Esther Stolte Henricksen, she was born in Anamosa Sept. 15, 1952. She was a 1970 graduate of Bennett Community school and a 1972 graduate of Scott Community college. She was married to Dennis Schmidt in Eldridge April 28, 1973.

She was a skilled craftsman and a co-owner of M & S Craft Supplies, Eldridge. She had formerly been employed as a secretary by the Davenport Fire Department.

She is survived by her husband, 2 sons, Tyler and Thomas; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Henricksen, Bennett; a brother, Myron Henricksen, Bennett; her maternal grandfather, Hugo Stolte, Stanwood and nieces and nephews. A sister preceded her in death.
