MURPHY.-Died Monday, October 21, 1889 at 6:15 o'clock A. M. from disease of stomach after a lingering illness, at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Jacob Auer, 313 South B street, MRS. CATHERINE MURPHY, aged 67 years. Remains taken to Davenport, her former home, Monday evening. Funeral from St. Mary's Catholic church in Davenport, Tuesday. Interment in cemetery where rest the remains of her husband and several children. (Oskaloosa Herald, October 24, 1889)
