Funeral services for Albert Wegener, 86, Walcott, were held at Hope Lutheran church, Dixon, Dec. 10 with burial in the Dixon cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Walcott Senior Citizens club.

Mr. Wegener died at Mercy hospital, Davenport, Dec. 7.

Born near Walcott Oct 18, 1898, he was married to Florence Meyer in Davenport in 1922. She died in 1954. He married Ermile Brown in 1957. She died in 1976. He farmed in Scott county prior to his retirement. He was a member of Hope Lutheran church, the Knights of Pythias, Dixon and the Walcott Senior Citizens.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Howard (Phyllis) Paulsen, Stockton and Mrs. Dexter (Dorothy) Gibson, Dixon; a son, Virgil, Tipton; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Frank (Hilda) Berodt, Dixon.
