Funeral services for William Ed Brus, 82, 310 E. Garfield St., Davenport, were held at Runge Chapel, Davenport Oct. 27 with burial in the Blue Grass cemetery. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

Mr. Brus died Oct. 24 at Mercy hospital, Davenport following an illness of several months. He was born Nov. 10, 1901 in Blue Grass and married Emma Erps Grimm in 1958. She preceded him in death. He married Marie Schulz at Durant March 1, 1972. He farmed in the Blue Grass area prior to his retirement and then employed by Builders Sand & Gravel Co. and at Lone Star. He was a member of the Davenport Moose Lodge #28.

Survivors include his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Bonnie) Fagan, Olin and Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Bend, St. Clair, Mich.; 8 grandchildren and a sister, Elsie Bottomley, Davenport.
