Mary E. Hollerud, 84, of Andalusia, IL, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at her home in Andalusia.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 W. 4th Avenue, Milan, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Andalusia Cemetery, Andalusia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mary was born August 4, 1937 in Rock Island, IL, a daughter of Melvin and Faye Claver Adams. She married Henry H. Hollerud on July 19, 1965 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2000.

She worked for Canteen for several years, then for Servus Rubber, Rock Island, for over 30 years until her retirement in 1998.

Mary was a member of the Andalusia Lions Club Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed puzzles and crossword.

Surviving are her children, Melvin Parker, East Moline, IL, Bruce (Doreen) Parker, Magnolia, TX, Randy (Traci) Hollerud, Andalusia and Lisa Wells, Milan; step children, Sharon (Ted) Short, Peoria, AZ, Joyce Kilgard, Coal Valley, IL, Steve (Kristi) Hollerud, Independence, MO and Gene Hollerud, Moline, IL; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Koster, Timothy (Gretchen) Gitchel, Anthony Parker, Abigail Hollerud and Dustin Wells; great grandchildren, Tristian, Bryson, Ashley, Macy and Maya; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Edith King, Ralph Hunt, Ruth Svoboda and Robert Adams.
