Leobardo B. Escalante, de 70 años, de Milan, IL, falleció el martes 17 de mayo de 2022 en UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island. Según sus deseos, se otorgarán ritos de cremación y no se llevarán a cabo servicios en este momento.

Leobardo nació el 18 de enero de 1952 en Zacatecas, México, hijo de Marciano y Agustina (Barbosa) Escalante. Se casó con Candelaria C. Cuevas, quien sobrevive. Trabajó como mayordomo de Monterey Mushrooms. Además de su esposa, Candelaria, los sobrevivientes incluyen: su hija, Leslie; hijo, Leobardo Jr; nieta, Lexi; nietos, Erik, Nicolás, Omar y Orlando; bisnieta, Meyla; hermana, Silvia; y hermanos, Marciano y Robert Escalante. Leobardo was born January 18, 1952, in Zacatecas, Mexico to Marciano and Agustina (Barbosa) Escalante. He married Candelaria C. Cuevas, who survives.

He worked as a Foreman for Monterey Mushroom Manufacturing Company.

In addition to his wife, Candelaria, survivors include: his daughter, Leslie; son, Leobardo Jr.; granddaughter, Lexi; grandsons, Erik, Nicolas, Omar, and Orlando; great-granddaughter, Meyla; sister, Silvia Escalante: and brothers, Marciano and Robert Escalante.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Melecio Escalante.
