Brooke E. Neff, 37, of Bettendorf passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 26, 2022 in Bettendorf.

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 p.m. Noon – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5th at the East End Boulders Club, 3712 4th Ave., Moline, Illinois. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the family to be used for an educational fund for Brooke’s son, Paxton. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Brooke was born on September 11, 1984 in Davenport, the daughter of Robert Neff and Julie Steve. She graduated from Bettendorf High School, class of 2002. Brooke worked as a customer service representative trainer for United Healthcare. In her spare time she loved spending time with her family, and bicycling with her best friend, Reba. Her greatest joy in life was her son, Paxton.

Those left to honor her memory are her son, Paxton Phillips of Bettendorf; her mother and step-father, Julie & Everett Bonney of Bettendorf; her father and step-mother, Robert & Tammy Neff of Durant, Iowa; brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Dee Neff of Bettendorf; paternal grandfather, Robert Neff of Davenport; best friends, Reba Williams of Davenport, Kim Boyd of Bettendorf; her beloved cat, Baby Girl; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jean & Duane Langtimm and Al Steve; paternal grandmother, Methel Neff; and her fiancé, Archie Britcher.
