Robert L. White, 67, of Davenport, IA, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday September 3, 2021 at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. Online condolences may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com

Robert was born on January 13, 1954 to Alfred and Adell White in Osceola, AR. He was united in marriage to Naomi, who preceded him in death. They moved to the Quad Cities from Arkansas in the late 1980’s. Robert was a simple man, he loved to watch cowboy movies, fishing with his brothers, dancing with his wife, and playing the drums.

Those left to honor his memory are his children: Walter Jenkins, Arthur Garth, Antonio Garth; brothers: Emerson (Karen Marshall) White and Dan (Edie) White; nieces: Eliza (Letrell) Davis, Desirae White and Alexus White; nephew: Daniel Howard and Joshua White; a host of other nieces, nephews, and grandchildren; and his lifelong companion, Linda Allen.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents: Alfred and Adell White; wife, Naomi; and several children: Norris White, Demerest Garth, and a daughter in infancy.
