Mrs. Minnie Stoltenberg, 91, a resident of New Liberty, died at Mercy hospital in Davenport at 5:45 a.m. Jan. 24. She had been ill since Jan. 19. She was born near Dixon April 7, 1869.

The former Minnie Thoms was married to Adolph Stoltenberg March 1, 1893 in Davenport. The couple farmed 2 miles north of New Liberty until 1913 when they retired and moved to New Liberty.

Her husband preceded her in death Dec. 4, 1953. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1943.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Walter Rohlf of Bennett, a grandson, Eugene Rohlf and 2 great-grandchildren, Patricia and James Rohlf.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, a sister and 6 brothers.

Services will be held at the Runge chapel in Davenport at 1 p.m. today (Thursday). Burial will be in the New Liberty cemetery.
