Funeral services for Emil Schnack, 80, were held Jan. 24 at Davenport. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park cemetery.
Mr. Schnack died at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 21, at the Pine Knoll home, Davenport, following an illness of a year.
Born near Donahue, he married Anna Schneidereit Dec. 8, 1909, at Davenport. The couple farmed near Donahue and later near Stockton until retiring in 1948.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Alta) Fink of Donahue, Mrs. Bonetta Dengler of Muscatine, and Mrs. Walter (Patricia) Olderog, Walcott; two sons, Eldon and Marvin, Davenport; 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 7 sisters, Mrs. Adele Meyer, Watertown, S.D.; Mrs. Hattie Stoltenberg, Mrs. Norma Stoltenberg, Mrs. Lizzie Keppy, Mrs. Eleanor Hamilton, Mrs. Lill Reife and Mrs. Mildred Luthye, all of Davenport.
His wife, a daughter and 2 sons preceded him in death.
