Funeral services are pending at Runge Funeral home, Davenport, for Adolph Rathjen, 91, Walcott, who died at Mercy hospital, Davenport, Aug. 8. Burial will be at Walcott.

Rathjen was born at Walcott April 2, 1882 and was married to Lizzie Moeller in 1906. She preceded him in death in 1939.

Survivors are Mrs. Leroy (Mardel) Pruess, Clarence; Mrs. Walter (Marie) Bruhn, New Liberty; 4 sons, Lawrence, Davenport; Vernon, Walcott; Ferdinand, Wilton, and Leroy, Stockton; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
