Funeral services to celebrate the life of Lynne S. Allen will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4097 18th St., Bettendorf. Burial will take place at St. Ann's Cemetery, Long Grove. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main St., downtown Davenport. There will be an additional visitation Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Surrounded by family, Lynne passed away peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Lynne is survived by her husband, Andrew; children and their spouses: Jann and Matt Robie, Erin and Matt Horst, and Matt Duffy; step-daughter, Kristin Allen; grandchildren: Lucas, Nicholas, and Jackson Robie; Mallory, Creighton, and Brant Horst; parents: R. Wesley and Lola Carlson; brothers: Terry (Pert) Carlson, Tom (Tina) Carlson, and Todd (Sara) Carlson; mother-in-law, LaVerne Klima; sisters-in-law: Andrea (Mike) Mann, and Carol Schobert, and her loving extended family.

Lynne was preceded in death by her brother, Tim Carlson.
