Mrs. Herman Lamp (nee Annie Greving) was born in Liberty township, Scott county, December 25, 1872. She is a daughter of Gerhardt Greving now of Bennett. Mrs. Lamp for some time has had poor health but her death came as a sudden shock to her people. She died Saturday forenoon at her home in New Liberty, of heart trouble, at the age of 37 years, 1 month and 4 days. She leaves to mourn her early death, her loving husband, one daughter and one son, namely, Miss Blanche, age 14 years and Master Harvey, age 11 years; also her aged father, three brothers and three sisters, (her mother and a brother having died within the last few months). Mrs. Lamp was a dear wife and a kind and loving mother and her friends are numbered only by the number her many acquaintances.

Funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, with services at the house and interment in the New Liberty cemetery.

Mrs. Lamp was a sister of Mrs. August Johann and a sister-in-law of Louis Lamp, both of Bennett. Our heartfelt sympathy is with all relatives of the deceased.
