Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” May 7, 1928:

BEATRICE L. BENGE.

Beatrice Lucille Benge, 4-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Benge, died at their home in Davenport Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The body will be brought to Ottumwa Tuesday and taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Williams, 1034 South Sheridan avenue. The funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.

The body of Beatrice Lucille Benge, 4-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Benge, of Davenport, was brought to Ottumwa today and was taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Williams, 1034 South Sheridan avenue, where funeral services were held at 2 o’clock this afternoon. The Rev. Luther W. Childs was in charge and interment was made in Ottumwa Cemetery.
