Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” Monday, May 12, 1941:

MRS. N. FOREMANN.

Word was received in Ottumwa Monday of the death of Mrs. Nanette Foremann, 86, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Garcia in Davenport, at 1:40 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Foreman was the wife of the late George W. Foremann, who died in 1925. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ella Swartz of Butte, Mont., Mrs. Victor Lopez of Davenpor [sic], and Mrs. Garcia; two sons, Fred of Hill City, S.D., and George of Waterloo; 34 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

The body will arrive in Ottumwa Tuesday for services at 1:30 p.m. Services will be held at the Lester Jay funeral home, with the Rev. Harold Roberts of the First Christian church in charge. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
