The Davenport (IA) Republican; Friday, November 28, 1902; p. 6, col. 5:

Death came to Mrs. Catherine Maher, at her home in this city yesterday morning at 1:45 o’clock, after she had been ill for a long time.

Mrs. Maher was born in the city and spent her life here. She is survived by her nine children and one brother, Matthew Conlin. The children are John, Thomas, George, James, William, Agnes, Joseph, Raymond and Edward.

The funeral will be held from the family residence, 524 West Seventh street, Saturday morning with services at 9 o’clock at St. Anthony’s church and burial at St. Marguerite’s cemetery.
