Boardman

Wallace Boardman, for many years foreman of the harness department at the Sears Saddlery company, passed away this morning at 8:55 o'clock at St. Luke's hospital after a lingering illness.

The deceased was born in 1855 and when a young man was united in marriage to Anna F. Nieman at St. Louis. They came to Davenport 14 years ago, and Mr. Boardman associated himself with the Sears company, by which firm he was employed until death. He was a member of the Blue lodge, A. F. & A. M. of Harrisonville, Mo., and Zerapath Consistory, No. 4, and Kaaba Temple at Davenport.

Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Wallace of Olatha, Kas., Harry of Muskegon, Mich., and Ward of Cheboygan, Mich., and three daughters, Emma Boardman of Muskogee, Okla., and Pearl and Ethel Boardman of Kansas City, Mo.

The body was removed to the Hill & Frederick mortuary, from where it will be shipped tonight at 7:42 o'clock, over the Rock Island, to the old home in Harrisonville. Interment will take place on the family lot in Oakland cemetery at Harrisonville.
