Lewis Edmon Dusenberry, 56, of 2418 N. Ohio, Davenport, Iowa, died at 1:15 am Sunday in Mercy Hospital Davenport, after a short illness. Funeral rites will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday in the Runge Chapel, 824 N Third, Davenport, Iowa, followed by burial in Davenport Memorial Park. There is visitation at the chapel after 2 pm Tuesday.

Lewis Edmon Dusenberry was born April 15, 1913, in Washington, Iowa, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee Dusenberry. He graduated from the Washington schools and College of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa. After graduation he was employed by the Lage Drug Company in Davenport, and later was president of Swan Drug Stores until they were sold to Rais Corp in 1964. Until his death he was employed as pharmacist at the Davenport Osteopathic Hospital. Mr. Dusenberry was a member of the Newcomb Presbyterian Hospital, Iowa Pharmaceutical Association and Moose Lodge. He was married to Marian H Cover, who preceded him in death in 1967, and later he married Emma M Stralow.

Surviving are the widow, one sister and one brother, Mrs. Willard Reschly and John Dusenberry of Washington Iowa, 3 nieces, 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard and a brother.
