Iowan Killed in West.

Davenport, Aug. 5.—(Special.)—D.V. Lloyd, a Davenport contractor, received a telegram today stating that his son William was shot and killed at Ogden, Utah last night. No particulars
were given. The young man was a detective for the Union Pacific railroad.
