Services for John "Jack'' Eickhoff, 68, Bettendorf, are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial is in Davenport Memorial Park, with graveside services by Moline American Legion. Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to LeClaire Ambulance Service or Bettendorf American Legion.
Mr. Eickhoff died Wednesday, March 11, 1998, in Pleasant Valley. He was born Nov. 27, 1928, in Davenport, to Hugo John and Marie Fahrenkrug Eickhoff. He married Marlayne Hungness May 9, 1953, in Davenport.
Surviving are his wife; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Maynard Rindler, Bettendorf, and Sandra and Chuck Dixon, Cary, Ill.; a son and daughter-in-law, John H. and Rhonda Eickhoff Jr., Columbia, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Finck, Durant, Iowa, and Helen Eickhoff, Bettendorf.
