Neumann, George F. -- Died at his home, 819 Gaines street this morning at 11:30 after a long illness. Funeral Monday afternoon.
He was born in Germany, Jan. 10, 1846. He was a member of the firm of Ebi and Neuman, Founder and Machinists, for 25 years, retiring several years ago on account of ill health. He was an honest and upright business man, and highly esteemed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline, and five children, Henry, Ida, Emma, George and Alice besides his mother, Mrs. Anna Newman and sisters, Miss Louise, Mrs Fred Orth of Ellsworth, Kas., Mrs. Theresa Kruse, Mrs. A. D. Flen and Miss Ida.
The funeral which will be private will be held from the home at 2:30 o’clock Monday afternoon with interment at Oakdale.
