Fahrenkrug
Mrs. Frederica Fahrenkrug died at her home, 416 South Concord street, Monday at 11:50 p.m. Death resulted from the infirmities of her advanced years.
She was born Sept. 7, 1854 in New York, coming to Iowa with her parents in 1858. Here she was married to F. C. Fahrenkurg, Dec. 11, 1872, who preceded her in death in 1924.
Surviving are four sons, John F., George W., Horace B., and Fred C., all of this city, and three daughters, Mrs. C. N. Jasper and Miss H. E. Fahrenkrug, of Davenport, and Mrs. L. B. Hein, of Rock Island.
Mrs. Fahrenkrug was a member of the Old German Settlers’ society.
Friends will be welcome at the home, but the services at the grave will be private.
The funeral will be held from the late home at 2 p.m., Friday. Interment will be in Oakdale cemetery.
